About Syzigy

Our Mission

Reclaim social belonging and rebuild connections from the inside out.

Syzigy exists to bring people together in small Circles where everyone can connect, meet, and belong. We're rebuilding the connections that today's platforms forgot how to create by facilitating real human relationships.

Founder's Manifesto

As an avid gamer myself and as someone whose interests didn't always match the people around me, I grew up finding my people online. I've tried that using forums, online communities and niche spaces where I could just be.

That always got swallowed by algorithms and scale.

Nir, founder of Syzigy

Before Syzigy, I spent a decade as an executive at Waze watching millions of strangers help each other daily without being asked and without even knowing each other's names. 140 million users contributing to something bigger than themselves. That's what happens when you design for contribution instead of consumption.

People simply show up.

I learned that real communities are built through reciprocity, shared context and a mutual goal. Technology, when community-driven, can bring millions of strangers together around a shared purpose and that same DNA is rooted at the core of Syzigy.

Syzigy is the 3rd place I wish existed for me. A limitless pool of small social Circles with people who share what I'm into, my identity, my location and who actually want to hear from me. Somewhere I could belong without the IRL meetups stress or performance anxiety.

We're building it for the person who loves anime and has nobody to yap about it with, for the K-pop fan who wants a group chat that actually gets it, for the gamer who wants a squad that sticks or anyone who's ever had something to say but no one to share it with.

Our Values

Social Intimacy

You shouldn't have to broadcast to thousands just to participate online. What matters to us is keeping Circles small and familiar, prioritizing like-minded people and respecting your existing networks.

Social Structure

Context creates belonging as most friendships form in a host, at work or maybe through a social club. What matters to us is providing that same scaffolding for the friendships that haven't happened yet.

Authentic Presence

What matters to us is stripping out the public metrics that create that pressure. The only audience should be the Circle of people you're actually talking to.

Intention Over Consumption

Social networks lost their way when they became content networks, designed to keep you scrolling instead of connecting. What matters to us is flipping that entirely with every touchpoint on Syzigy being an invitation to participate.

Reciprocity

Individual empowerment comes from strong communities that are built on give and take. When everyone participates, people find each other, connections form around shared goals and belonging follows naturally from shared Moments.
